Tia Faacks

Tia joined the team in March 2008 as a Vet Tech. Tia does a fabulous job keeping our shelves stocked with all the latest prescription special diets from Royal Canin and Science Diet and is one of our Certified Laser Technicians. Tia says some of the driving influences that she likes about her position is the variety that the position offers and the fabulous team she is blessed to work with. When Tia is away from work she enjoys reading and spending time gardening. Tia is welcomed home each night by her significant other Ben, Cooper her Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Blu her Boxer and her newest addition Surly who is an American Stafforshire Terrier/Boxer mix.

Eva Benoit, CVT

Eva is our full time Certified Veterinary Technician and she is also a Certified Laser Therapy Technician. Prior to finding her true passion in a career as a CVT, Eva spent years in the retail and hospitality professions. Eva is very dedicated to helping improve the lives of animals and their owners. To further achieve this goal, she is an animal control officer and is also involved with multiple animal rescue organizations, among them Ruff Start, Angel of Hope and St. Francis Pet Rescue. One never knows how many fostered orphan kittens can be found at Eva's home! She works at another veterinary clinic as a CVT also. Eva is interested in animal behavior, nutrition and allergies. Her family includes her husband Dale, their young son Logan, two adopted older cats Leonard and Pepper, two foster-failure brother cats Smokey &The Bandit (Bandit is mostly deaf), and an aquarium full of fishy-friends. Eva also has two dogs, Jase and Liberty. They were both surrendered to her by their owners instead of being euthanized because of their severe allergies. They are happy and healthy now that their allergies are being treated with medications and hypoallergenic diets. In her spare time, Eva loves to cook, read, garden and tend to her indoor "jungle" of plants (as Dale puts it).

Mindi Schwandt, CVT

Mindi began her career at Andover Animal Hospital in January 2012 as an extern. Shortly thereafter she graduated from Minnesota School of Business with her Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology. Mindi has a strong compassion for animals, and has dreamed of working in the field since she was a little girl. In her free time Mindi likes to travel (Duluth and Europe being her favorite locations), hiking, camping, and spending time with friends and family. Awaiting Mindi at home are her husband Phil, a deaf Australian Shepherd named Dopey, Flat Coated Retriever named Jett, and her Ragdoll cat Misty.
