Dear clients of Andover Animal Hospital,

Unfortunately, the Delta variant for COVID-19 has caused Anoka County to now move into the HIGH transmission status. This means that we will now be enforcing the mask policy for ALL STAFF AND CLIENTS while indoors.

At this time, we are not going back to curbside; however, please monitor our website and Facebook for status changes.

We appreciate your understanding and your patience during these times.

Per the CDC:

“Anoka County residents should once again wear masks in public indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status, according to new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Based on new data about the highly contagious delta variant of the novel coronavirus, the CDC recommended July 27 that even vaccinated people wear masks in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.

Anoka County’s community transmission is considered substantial, making it one of the dozens of Minnesota counties—including the entire seven-county metro area—where masks are now recommended for everyone, based on CDC data Aug. 3.

Level of Community Transmission in Anoka County, Minnesota is now considered HIGH.”

Andover Animal Hospital has exciting news! This summer, we have welcomed two additional amazing veterinarians to our team. Therefore, effective 08/30/2021, we will once again be able to see new clients! We can’t wait to meet new friends!

In addition, we have added a full day of same day/urgent care appointments Monday through Friday! Initially, this is a benefit that will be only available for our current patients. We define a current patient as a pet who we have seen within the past 24 months. As we move forward with our urgent care appointments, we hope to be able to add more availability to help more pets in our community.

As always, we thank all of our wonderful clients who trust us for their pet’s ongoing medical care! Your patience, support, and kindness to our staff has been so helpful throughout these unprecedented times.

My dog actually likes to go to the vet! So that should say it all! As his "mom" I couldn't be happier with everyone at the clinic. They are kind, helpful and very caring. I trust them totally with my baby! And Riley LOVES Dr. Kate. She is the best!

They’re doing the best they can during this time. They can’t make it any better than they are doing. This is the absolute best animal clinic/hospital we have ever been to. The care and concern they show is extraordinary! Thank you so much
