Andover Animal Hospital is reopening to the public! Click here to view guidelines.
We are very excited to see you all again! We ask for your patience as our new normal morphs into another new normal, as there is a lot for us to learn and relearn. We have had to adjust to a whole new workflow this past year and now it is going to be completely different! We are so excited and nervous!
Please keep in mind that there will still be strict guidelines in place.
CURBSIDE appointments
-You can always choose a curbside appointment.
–Technician appointments will still be curbside (if you are unsure if your appointment is a technician appointment, just ask!)
-Some examples of technician curbside appointments include:
-Nail trims
-Certain puppy/kitten boosters
-Surgical/dental rechecks (if you have a major concern regarding your pet, post-surgery, please schedule with a veterinarian)
-Any pet that needs vaccines that do not require a rabies vaccine or annual exam.
-Diagnostic tests such as a heartworm test or fecal sample
-Food or medication pick up
-Emergency/Urgent care appointments
Appointments allowed in the building with their pets
Routine scheduled appointments: These clients will continue to be checked in curbside. The technician will collect a history over the phone and once they have completed collecting the required information, and the exam room is ready, they will meet you at the front door and escort you to the exam room where you and your pet will meet with the veterinarian.
-We ask that there is only 1 person per exam room in the building
-There can only be a total of 4 clients waiting in the waiting room at one time. Please
practice social distancing while in the waiting room.
-We ask that you wait in your car for:
-pending lab results
-the completion of the appointment so the room is available for sanitizing
Euthanasia appointments: These clients will be checked in curbside and then escorted into an exam room. We do allow for 2 people in the room during the procedure. We ask that additional friends and family wait outside or in their vehicle.
Our clients have been amazingly patient with us and we appreciate you more than ever. Thank you!
*We are still requiring clients to wear a properly fitted face mask while in the building or curbside while in contact with our staff. There will be no exceptions. Andover Animal Hospital is private property and we reserve the right to enforce these rules. Not all of our staff are vaccinated. We need to keep our entire staff safe so that we can be here and stay open for you and your pet!
If you forget your mask, we will be happy to supply you with one.
If you choose not to wear a mask, we will be happy to serve you and your pet curbside.
If you have a medical reason that prevents you from wearing a mask, we can absolutely accommodate you with a curbside appointment.
