IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Dear clients of Andover Animal Hospital,

Unfortunately, the Delta variant for COVID-19 has caused Anoka County to now move into the HIGH transmission status. This means that we will now be enforcing the mask policy for ALL STAFF AND CLIENTS while indoors.

At this time, we are not going back to curbside; however, please monitor our website and Facebook for status changes.

We appreciate your understanding and your patience during these times.

Per the CDC:

“Anoka County residents should once again wear masks in public indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status, according to new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Based on new data about the highly contagious delta variant of the novel coronavirus, the CDC recommended July 27 that even vaccinated people wear masks in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.

Anoka County’s community transmission is considered substantial, making it one of the dozens of Minnesota counties—including the entire seven-county metro area—where masks are now recommended for everyone, based on CDC data Aug. 3.

Level of Community Transmission in Anoka County, Minnesota is now considered HIGH.”
